This is my favourite project I have worked on so far. My client’s work was so beautiful it really wasn’t difficult getting the inspiration for the design. I quickly identified the purpose of the website – to showcase David’s photography and advertise his workshops. From there it was simple, make the images stand out. They done this on their own, so I just had to make everything else fade slightly into the background, only being seen when necessary, and not cluttering up the page.
This website was wholly built in WordPress which means David can update each and every page, and add new photos to the site when he choses. It also has comment functionality and the ability to share links to his photos on facebook and twitter. The e-commerce side of the website means that customers can buy prints from David easily through paypal.
